      <image:title>Background - My Background</image:title>
<image:caption>I received my Bachelor of Science from Southeast Missouri State University in Family Studies, a major focused around Family System’s Theory. Family System’s Theory views our family of origin as a inter-connective and bidirectional system. This framework provides a window into the family constructs we grew up with including how our family rules -implicit or explicit and roles we played in childhood to get our needs met or keep the family functioning impact and get replayed in our present-day functioning and relationships. In addition my bachelor’s degree, I obtained a Minor in Psychology where I studied child psychology, psychology of the family, death and dying, human sexuality and more. I then graduated with a Master of Arts from Webster University’s accredited Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. During this time I also became trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) from EMDR International Association’s approved Humanitarian Assistance Program (HAP). After graduating I moved to Dallas, Texas where I worked in a private practice establishing myself as an EMDR therapist. During my time at the private practice group I attended weekly 2 hour case consultation groups composed of a multidisciplinary team of clinician’s. Here I received extensive training and exposure to various theoretical orientations and treatment modalities including but not limited to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Attachment Theory. Acceptance and commitment therapy, a value-based orientation which focuses on how our values impact our behaviors and influence disturbances when we are living out of alignment with our values. ACT works to identify not only our individual values but how we can take actionable and sustainable steps towards our values, in every life circumstance! Attachment theory views the roles of our earliest caregivers’ ability to care for us as the foundation for shaping our sense of self, safety, relationships and how we view the world. The imprint of attachment can be seen in past relationships, reactions, fears or patterns of behaviors. Attachment theory also calls upon the artistic nuances of language, imagination, physical expression, and reflecting upon the clinician’s internal experiences to aid in the conceptualization of the client. While fulfilling my licensure hour requirements I also worked at The Colin A. Ross Institute for Psychological Trauma. At the institute I conducted research as well as worked with adults experiencing symptoms of PTSD and Dissociative Disorders such as Dissociative Identity disorder. Here I specialized in Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), a theoretical orientation which focuses on how our thoughts influence our behaviors, as well as Dr. Colin Ross’s Trauma Model for the treatment of Dissociative Disorders. As mentioned I have received various trainings, including a relatively new method, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). ART comprises various components of previously well-established evidenced based therapy such as EMDR and Gestalt, but research is showing results achieved much faster. Since the origination of Taylor Klump LLC, evolution and growth have continued to be held with the upmost importance and are the cornerstone of this business as I have continued my pursuit of knowledge and research. I am committed to continued growth and improvement as a business professional.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Book A Session (Old Version) - Services</image:title>
<image:caption>What to Expect: You don’t have to have it figured out, whether you’ve dabbled in traditional talk therapy, hired a coach or maybe you’re a personal development/ self-help enthusiast or if all of this is new to you, all you have to be is ready to work and invest in yourself! Step into my “office” and I’ll take care of the rest. Once you’re in my metaphorical office, yes all our work happens virtually, you commit to a minimum of 12 weekly sessions at $250 USD per 75 minute session. This program has no set length of time, meaning once you reach a certain number of sessions we stop our work, regardless of where you are at. I have each person commit to a minimum of 12 weekly sessions as each person works at a different pace and has different needs. Much like taking an antibiotic, it is not advised to stop taking it halfway through! The Work: My custom approach utilizes a variety of evidenced based modalities in addition to body-based interventions. Body based interventions condense what would take many months or years to accomplish with traditional talk approaches. We utilize body-based interventions to target the source of your symptoms and extract from the root. This approach works to alleviate your symptoms in the present and we then take it a step further in preparing you for your future hence, healing the past, enjoying the present, creating the future.</image:caption>
